The story of D.P. Jewellers began in the late 1940s when Late Shri Dhoolchand Ji Kataria envisioned a more transparent and trustworthy approach to jewellery retail. At a time when the industry was largely unorganised, he introduced jewellery crafted with 96% and 92% purity standards. This commitment to purity and transparency laid the foundation for what would become D.P. Jewellers.
Under the leadership of Late Shri Panna Lal Ji Kataria, son of Late Shri Dhoolchand Ji Kataria, D.P. Jewellers opened its first retail store in Ratlam. This milestone marked an important chapter in our journey and strengthened our connection with generations of customers. Over the years, our roots in Ratlam have remained an integral part of our identity and heritage.
In 2010, under the vision of Shri Anil Kataria and Shri Vikas Kataria, we established our flagship showroom in Indore. This expansion beyond Ratlam marked the entry of D.P. Jewellers into one of Central India's largest markets.
